Park board applications due Feb. 24 | Community Spirit

The Veneta Park Board is seeking to fill one resident vacancy (position 6) and one non-resident vacancy (position 7) on the Veneta Park Board. 

The deadline to apply is Feb. 24, 2012. An application can be picked up at Veneta Administrative Center, 88184 Eighth Street, or you can download an application.

The Board meets the first Wednesday of each month and is instrumental in implementing the City's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan and park related events such as the City's spring egg hunt and Earth/Arbor Day celebrations. 

The vacancies are both four year terms and will expire March 31, 2016.
