Eugene Yacht Club open house May 14 | Events

The Eugene Yacht Club’s annual open house is Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Come learn about sailing on Fern Ridge Lake, one of the finest freshwater cruising and racing venues on the West Coast.

Other attractions include free sailboat rides, a tour of sailboat displays and information on how you can join the local sailing community.

Eugene Yacht Club is one of the Pacific Northwest’s oldest yacht clubs, a presence in the sailing community in Oregon and beyond for more than 60 years. 

The club is located on the shores of Fern Ridge Lake just a short drive west of Eugene.

The 10-acre, family-friendly facility includes a large clubhouse and deck, lush grounds, a large play area for kids, wet and dry sailboat moorage, showers and laundry facilities and much more. 

For race fans, the Eugene Yacht Club hosts some of the most competitive fleets in the nation.

To get to the Eugene Yacht Club, take Highway 99 to Clear Lake Road.  Head west on Clear Lake Road past the Fern Ridge Dam.  Eugene Yacht Club is located on Bangs Road just past Richardson Park.  Watch for sign on Clear Lake Road.
